2017 Pan American TP Champions!

Bayley’s first Pan American Championships were GOLDEN, as the Canadian Men’s Team Pursuit squad become the 2017 Continental Champions!

The Track Cycling Championships were held August 30th – Sepember 3rd, at a beautiful new Velodrome in Trinidad & Tobego.

Bayley, Aidan, Jay and Derek put up the best time in Team Pursuit qualifiers, caught 4th place Argentina during the first round, and then convincingly won the Gold Medal final against the USA.

These young men also brought home Gold & Silver in the 4 KM Individual Pursuit, Silver in the Omnium, and 5th in the Madison!

Bayley and Aidan competed in their first championship Madison, and had an eventful, yet successful race.  Aidan had a crash and was out for many laps, but remarkably returned to the track, and he and Bayley still managed to finish 5th overall.

Congratulations to this Canadian Men’s Track Endurance team, as they continue to improve and impress!
