Bayley finished off the 2015 Junior Track Cycling World Championships Omnium, as 7th overall!!
On the second day of the Junior Men’s Omnium, Bayley started the day with two solid individual performances, finishing 12th in each of the 1K Time Trial and the 250m Flying Lap.
The final event of the Omnium is the Points Race, which is a really exciting 100 lap, 25K race. There are sprint points on the line, every 10 laps of the race: 5,3,2&1 points for the top 1,2,3&4 finishers in each sprint. The real game changer, however, is that riders can earn 20 extra points for lapping the field!
Bayley raced a smart and aggressive race; earning himself sprint points, as well as lapping the field for an extra 20 points, earning 5th in the Points Race and finishing the 2015 Junior Track Cycling World Championships as 7th overall! FANTASTIC!
